Exploring costs and outcomes

Child with adults

This programme of research focuses on the relationship between the needs of children and their families, the costs of the support and services they receive and the outcomes that are achieved. The research includes unit cost estimations for a range of services using a ‘bottom up’ unit cost method and also the development of the Cost Calculator for Children’s Services.
