Centre for Child and Family Research

We regularly publish reports, papers, journal articles and books to ensure that research findings are accessible to policy makers, practitioners and others interested in our work.

CCFR reports are an important form of dissemination and distribution of detailed research findings. They are available soon after the research has been carried out and interim reports are also produced for the longer projects.

Executive summaries are usually published as separate documents for those who require the information in an easily accessible format. Most reports are freely available from the CCFR office or can be downloaded from the website.

Child welfare book series

Harriet Ward edits a book series on Child Welfare Outcomes commissioned by Jessica Kingsley publishers. Several of the books in this series are based on reports written by CCFR staff.

The overall aim of the series is to generate a better understanding of the outcomes of services for children and young people in need, and also to explore how such knowledge can be used to improve the effectiveness of social care interventions and to promote the well being of vulnerable children.
