Background

Jane is a Research Fellow within CCFR. She splits her time between Loughborough and seconded to the Scottish Government, where she is assisting with the development of the Code of Practice for sharing information about children and young people in need of protection. She has worked on the following projects for CCFR:

• Development of an Integrated Children's System: Linking the Looking After Children materials with those related to the new Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families
  
  
• A pilot study to assess the development of a multi-agency and integrated approach to the delivery of services to children and their families

Research interests

Jane's research and development interests have focused on the implementation of Looking After Children Assessing Outcomes in Child Care and the evaluation of this process; the development of the Integrated Children’s System; and the development and implementation of child care policy across Scotland.
