Background

Jean has worked on a number of projects including:

• Costs and consequences of different types of child care provision
  
  
• The Cost Calculator pilot phase
  
  
• Valuing changes in welfare to individuals and society resulting from the government's provision of children's social services in England

Research interests

Jean has developed the Cost Calculator for Children's Services software, and continues to work on this, incorporating extensions to the model as more data becomes available.
