Additive Manufacturing Research Group

Work with Students

Gears model photo

The AMRG is actively involved in student teaching, allowing students to benefit from the group's expertise and facilities.

Students can utilise the geometric freedom afforded by our AM machines to manufacture parts for project work that could not be made any other way. The service is aimed at third and fourth-year students working on their major individual or group projects, although depending on availability other student work may be catered for.

To see some recent examples of student work, visit our student projects page. For instructions on how to submit work to the AMRG lab, visit the student portal.

Note that the AMRG is primarily a research group, so please do not expect to have all of your project work manufactured by the lab.
