3D Printed Paddle boat

Philip Gascoigne, Matthew Pickering, Callum Peter Wilson

The project aim was to reverse engineer a car into a paddle boat.

The chassis without the wheel suspension was taken from an electric remote controlled car. The electrics were kept in order to manoeuvre the car in the water with a remote control. The impellent was realised by additive manufacturing the paddle wheels. Moving left and right is realised by the flaps on the back of the boat.  The shells were manufactured with an SLS machine and are made from a polymer.
