Registration begins at Loughborough University London

Loughborough University welcomed its first students onto its London campus this morning as registration opened at Loughborough University London.

More than 300 students from 33 different countries are expected through the doors over the next two days to sign onto one of 20-plus postgraduate courses, including the highly popular MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management which received over 1,000 applications.

A team of over 20 Peer Mentors – students currently studying at Loughborough University, and in London to help the new cohort settle in – were on hand to welcome the 2015 intake, giving them tours of the London campus and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and showing them around the local facilities.

Professor Mike Caine, Dean of Loughborough University London said:

“I am delighted to see Loughborough University London filled with students. There is a real buzz about the place.

“We have exceeded our student intake targets, which proves there is a genuine demand for the courses we are offering; Our Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Master’s is already one of the most popular in Europe.”

A full programme of events is planned over the next 10 days to welcome students to London and introduce them to their courses content and tutors, before teaching officially begins on Thursday 1 October.

Loughborough University London is based in HereEast on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
