About this event

Professor Zahid Hasan, Princeton University and Berkeley National Laboratory, will present the 2017 Sir Nevill Mott Lecture.

His talk is titled 'New Topological States of Matter: Material Platforms for Novel Fermions'.

The Sir Nevill Mott lecture series is named after the distinguished Physicist who, in 1995, presented a lecture at Loughborough entitled '65 Years in Physics'. Following its success, the Nobel Prize winner kindly permitted his name to be associated with an annual lecture.

Refreshments will be provided before the start of the lecture.
