Fruit Routes in Summer
About this event
Fruit Routes is back for its first event in 2017. You can walk the route, listen to acoustic music or try food and drink made from wild ingredients.
12pm -1pm Celebrate five years of Fruit Routes with the launch of our book and some wild and local refreshments
1pm - 2pm Walk the route with Anne-Marie Culhane, artist-founder of Fruit Routes and ecologist Ed Darby
2pm - 5pm Enjoy wild tea in the orchard
8pm - 10pm Bring a picnic to share with live acoustic music
10pm - 12am Marvel at Loughborough’s night flyers with Graham Finch (moths) and Ed Darby (bats)
All day - Take part in recording and learning about animal and insect species on Fruit Routes with ecologist Ed Darby
All events meet at Barefoot Orchard, look for the Meteorological Station opposite Pilkington Library.
