Introduction

The IeMRC had its hub at Loughborough where it managed the operational activities of the Centre with the research direction and priorisation being provided by an Industrial Steering Group (ISG).

The Governance Function resided with the IeMRC Board of Governors, an IeMRC Executive delivered the Management Function and an Industrial Steering Group provided the Consultation Function. The membership of these groups is presented below:

Reporting Structure

The figure below illustrates the reporting structure of the IeMRC. The Academic Director reported to the Governors directly and EPSRC via internal University line management, the Coordinator and Industrial Director in turn reported to the Academic Director and the Secretariat provideed support to the management and governance functions.
