The AVRC recognises that its work exists within international fields of research, involving colleagues, peers and research communities around the globe. In response to this we offer several resources to interested parties in these fields.

Vision in Vehicles (VIV) conference series

The VIV conference series is run by the AVRC approximately every two years in different parts of the world; the next conference will be VIV11. Peer-reviewed proceedings from previous conferences will soon be available.

An email list associated with the fields relevant to our VIV conference series.

Medical Image Perception (MIPS) conference

The AVRC organised and ran the MIPS XI conference held in the English Lake District in October 2005. This site is now closed but made available here for reference purposes only. For more recent information on the series see the Medical Image Perception Society web site.

Eye-Movement Forum and Mailing List

A resource for people interested in the field of eye-movements, eye-tracking and vision research; the list is now moderated by Professor Alastair Gale. You can join, leave or visit the archives at the link above.
