Using Simulation in a facilitated workshop environment

March 2015 to April 2016

The SIMTEGR8 project is a collaboration between Loughborough University, SIMUL8, HealthWatch Leicestershire and Leicestershire County Council. LISU has worked with Professors Stewart Robinson and Zoe Radnor in order to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of using a computer simulation of a system to improve patient care. The project uses computer modelling and simulation techniques in order to assess how the patient journey can be improved in four healthcare interventions through which Leicestershire are trying to reduce emergency admissions to hospital.
