LISU's statistical compilation
for the information economy

For more than ten years, LISU produced the LIST – a summary of key statistics of interest to the library and information community. The LIST was made freely available both on paper and on the LISU website.

The LIST was replaced with the LAMPOST, which incorporated most of the LIST tables, together with a wider coverage of the museums and archives sectors. Most of the data covered the whole UK, and is freely available online (but no longer provided on paper).

LISU had difficulty updating many of the tables in the LAMPOST, so in 2012 we have designed some new 10-year trend library and publishing statistical tables and graphs, which can be downloaded in pdf or Excel format from LISU's UK statistics
