Emma Britton Decorative Glass Designer

Emma Britton Decorative Glass Designer creates stunning decorative glass panels and accessories which bring something unique to both homes and commercial interiors.

Following graduation, whilst working with glass company Chelsea Artisans, Emma realised that there was demand for original glass products and decided to combine her textile design skills with her new-found knowledge of glass.

She began by creating an attractive collection of floral glass kitchen and bathroom splash backs, inspired by British suburbia. The collection of unique pieces of functional and decorative artwork – Up the garden path – offers high-quality designer items for the home. These have appeared in publications such as Beautiful Kitchens and Ideal Home Magazine.

Emma specialises in a bespoke design service for a range of private and trade clients to create one-off pieces for their interiors.  She also creates smaller homewares including glass surface protectors, coasters and tea towels which have proved popular. Emma is now about to launch her first wallpaper which will be available by the roll.

Emma won two awards in the 2011 Student and Graduate Business Plan Competition, and has appeared at numerous design exhibitions including the international Maison et Objet in Paris and will be returning to 100% Design at Earls Court, London for the third time this September.
