World’s first customisable luxury leather wallet launched

Loughborough University students Forrest Skerman-Stevenson and Charlie Baron have produced the first-ever customisable leather wallet as part of fashion brand Isolana London.

Launched through Kickstarter, a platform used to gain funding for creative projects, Industrial Design and Technology student Forrest and Management Sciences student Charlie aim to bring the freedom of creativity to the individual through their product.

Handmade using the locally sourced Italian leather, the wallets can be personalised using photos and embossed initials uploaded by the buyer. Offering a premium product at an affordable price, Isolana London combines customisation with craftsmanship to create something that is completely unique.

Forrest and Charlie started their Kickstarter campaign on May 1 and have already achieved nearly 50% of their £10k goal. Supporters can pledge as little as £1 and discounts are being offered to those that back the project.

With 31 days left to pledge, both are hopeful that the project receive enough backing to allow them to expand their workshop to enable batch production.
