Loughborough finishes ahead of Jamaica at the Commonwealth Games

In the 11 days of action at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Loughborough’s athletes claimed 35 medals in seven different sports for three competing nations.

If Loughborough was a country it would have finished 11th on the medal table. The tally of 35 medals would have been tenth highest, ahead of countries such as Kenya and Jamaica.

The medallists include current and former students, alumni members, players from Loughborough sport teams, and athletes who are based on campus via an elite performance centre for their sport.
