Before Hockey came along, I was lined up to be the next John Terry, my bank balance wonders whether I made the right choice!
Q How did you get started?
A I started playing when I was 12 when some local hockey players came to visit my school, so I joined the City of Portsmouth Hockey Club.
Q What has been the highlight of your career so far?
A I was on the team that won the European Championships in 2009. We beat Germany who were the Olympic champions at the time.
Q What is your training schedule?
A I train for about 20 hours a week. This includes gym based training, pitch based technical sessions, running and yoga.
Q What's your diet on an average day?
A I always have to make sure I eat enough eggs, meat, fruit, veg and carbs.
Q What are your hobbies away from sport?
A You invariably socialise with people from your sport so they are on a similar training schedule and when you get the chance to socialise you can do so together.
Q Who is your sporting hero?
A Sir Steve Redgrave.
