Success at university requires not only a good understanding of your subject, but also a range of academic skills that help you to further develop your knowledge. Employers are looking for these skills too and they often call them employability skills.
The Library offers Get the Know-How face-to-face workshops to help you improve your academic skills as well as a self-paced Academic Practice online course. By participating in the workshops or undertaking the online course you can gain credit towards the Loughborough Employability Award. This award recognises the development of valuable employability skills through participation in the many extra-curricular activities across campus.
