Media equipment

The University Library offers a range of media equipment.

This includes microform reader/printers, dvd/video playback equipment & dataprojectors. Microform reader/printers operate by debiting your printing credit account so in order to use the reader/printers you will need to know your University username and password, and have a positive balance on your print account.

Operating instructions are situated beside the equipment. Further assistance is available from the enquiry desks.

Please ensure that all copyright regulations are observed. Details are displayed throughout the media collection.

Photocopying facilities

The University Library has eight A4/A3 colour photocopiers: four located in the Open3 area on level 3, one in the high demand collection on level 3, two adjacent to the PC area on level 2 and one beside the Archices office on level 1. In order to use the photocopiers you will need to know your University username and password, and have a positive balance on your print account.

Prices for using the photocopiers are as follows:

A4 monochrome (black & white) 5p
A3 monochrome (black & white) 6p
A4 colour 15p
A3 colour 22p

Printer credits

Printer credits can be purchased online via a credit or debit card. You can also purchase printer credits from the Library enquiry desk (minimum charge £5 with either cash or a debit/credit card), or IT Services' Service Desk (minimum charge £5, card only, no cash), during opening hours.
