Welcome to the next stage of your Information Trail.
Having found the information you need and evaluated it, the next step is to present it in a suitable format. Depending on the assignment you have been set, this could be in the form of an essay, a report or an oral presentation. Essays and reports need to be properly referenced to avoid plagiarism and copyright infringement (the stealing of other people's ideas). Loughborough University subscribes to some software called Refworks that makes referencing a lot easier.
In this module you will learn about:
- essay writing
- report writing
- how to use information ethically
- how to cite the literature and create bibliographies
- using RefWorks to make citing easier
- delivering oral presentations
Now take the Module 6 
. How much do you know about presenting your information already? You will have the opportunity to take it again at the end of the module. Then you can see how much your knowledge has improved.
This module should take you approximately half an hour to complete.
