Study Abroad with English

The programme is particularly appropriate for international students who do not have English as a first language. There is an integrated English language study component which begins in April and can also begin in other months depending on your current English language level.

Semester Two

Full Academic Year

How it works…

Phase 1 applies to students who require English tuition before starting in your academic departments in October. Your start date will depend on your IELTS score and this is fully explained in the Entry Requirements section.

Phase 2 refers to your time within the academic department itself. You may choose to spend either one semester or a full academic year within your department.

The Study Abroad Programme is being continually developed to be as flexible as possible to meet the needs of our students. If you have any questions at all about the programme, please email the Study Abroad Team at studyabroad@lboro.ac.uk

*Study Abroad (no English tuition required)
Students with a suitable English qualification are exempt from the English Language Study programme and may enter directly onto an academic programme in October.
