Do you know who is paying your bills?
We are getting to the time of year when the heating is switched on and utility bills go up! But if you are in an all-inclusive tenancy do you know if you have a cap on the amount of gas/electricity you can use? It's really important that you find out, and then ask the letting agent/landlord for meter readings or access to the account so you can see what you are using.
If you are responsible for your bills, make sure all the tenants are on bill and you split the costs equally.
Energy saving tips: Turn off lights when you leave an empty room. Have the heating on a timer and keep the thermostat low- wear extra clothes if necessary. Keep doors and windown closed when the heating is on. Open them for ventilation when it is off, or you are using the bathroom.
