Careers in the Automotive sector - Networking for Female Students

The School of Business and Economics is hosting the UK Automotive 30% Club Annual Conference. Women are underrepresented in the motor industry in both the manufacturers and their dealer networks.
The purpose of the 30% Club is to work towards the aim of filling 30% of key leadership positions in their member automotive industry organisations by 2030 – through a “30 by 30” strategy.
The “30 by 30”strategy will examine ways to attract more women recruits, remove unconscious bias from recruitment and promotion processes, remove invisible blocks to women to rising through the business, and develop effective retention policies.
They are inviting female students to attend their afternoon session to meet and discuss career opportunities with motor industry leaders. If you are interested in a potential career in the motor industry this is a great opportunity to meet people who could help make it happen.
