Are running socks as important as your running shoes? Recruiting now

Moisture wicking and blister resistant are some of the marketing claims manufacturers use to get runners excited about the humble running sock. But do performance running socks provide a benefit or are they an overpriced gimmick?

We are recruiting: White British/European females aged 18-30 years old who are physical active/regularly running.

What is involved? 5 running trials wearing different socks and 2 resting trials assessing sock preferences. All trials will be conducted at the Environmental Ergonomics Research Centre, James France Building, Loughborough University.

Take part and gain: Reimbursement for your time & body composition analysis.
