University changes to an improved e-Tendering system

The University has changed the electronic system that it uses to issue and receive tenders for supplier contracts. We have moved from In-tend to Delta.

The benefits of the new Delta e-tendering system are:
• More intuitive than the previous system (with potential, therefore, to rollout beyond the Procurement Team and Facilities Management Department that have historically used these systems)

• Wider functionality to facilitate tender evaluation and the subsequent contract management

As part of the transition to Delta, current suppliers/bidders previously registered within our old In-tend system, have received e-mails from BiP Solutions (who own the Delta system) asking them to sign up to Delta (free of charge). Should any suppliers/bidders enquire with you as to the authenticity of this communication from BiP Solutions, you can confirm to them that it is genuine.
