Participants Required - 18 to 45 year old males

What is the purpose of the study?

The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of exercise on meal planning behaviour.  

Who is doing this research and why?

Asya Barutcu is undertaking this study as part of her PhD. Dr Lewis James (Lecturer in Nutrition, School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences) is supervising her in conducting this research.

Are there any exclusion criteria?

You must be: a male, between 18-45 years of age; BMI < 30 kg/m2, generally fit and healthy; be recreationally active and regularly perform cardiovascular exercise; a non-smoker; have no known history of gastric, digestive, cardiovascular, renal disease or an eating disorder.

Will I be required to attend any sessions and where will these be?

You will be required to visit the nutrition labs in Clyde Williams building on six occasions.
