Motor Insurance Update 2017 ( including website )

I am pleased to announce that I have updated and refreshed the content on Finance Office website for motor insurance, please can I ask all staff drivers currently approved to make themselves familiar with the advices given. I have also recently contacted all the schools via your Operation Managers back in May 2017 to ask all their existing approved staff driver to reapply before 14th July 2017 to stay insured to drive under Loughborough University motor insurance via the new online application process on ITRENT ( see attached ). As the data entered will be more secure than the old paper version and will have less administration processes, easier to use and refresh list on a regular basis, also less time taken by all concerned. School administrators will be able to view current approved application via workspace folder titled “ Approveddrivers”. Please can I ask school administrators to contact me so I can add you to the access workspace fo lder list.

I require all existing driver from schools only to note if you have not reapplied via the new ITRENT process you will no longer be insured from 31/07/2017 or until you have reapplied and your application is processed and approved.

Please can I make you aware that the common ITRENT application rejections are listed below , so I encourage you to ensure you enter the correct data and attach the correct two documents.

• Rejected because incorrect valid date have been entered, need to refer to the DVLA check code document for valid license dates.
• You MUST attach copies of your photo card driving licence ( front side only ) or your paper driving license, as this will enable me to check full driving license numbers.
• Correct two documents not attached.
• Do not be alarmed when application is rejected as required to make further enquiries.
