Volunteers wanted for harvesting around campus

The Sustainability Team are looking for staff and student volunteers to help with the autumn harvesting around campus over the next two months.

September and October are busy months for the team, collecting some of the many fruits grown on campus.

Each event takes place on a Wednesday. The team are especially looking for volunteers who can help pick apples with the Loughborough Campus Nursery children on Wednesday 19 September.

All of the dates and times are as follows:

19 September: 9:30am–12pm, Ashby Road Orchard

26 September: 1pm–2:30pm, Ashby Road Orchard

3 October: 1pm–2pm, outside FM yard (opposite admin 2 bus stop)

10 October: 1pm–2pm, West Park Teaching Hub

17 October: 1pm–2pm, Ashby Road Orchard
