Don’t miss the Loughborough Gold sale

The popular Loughborough Gold honey will be on sale next week at the Sustainability Office on campus.

The sale will take place on Tuesday (18 September) and will begin at 12pm. There are limited stocks available, so those wishing to buy a jar are advised to get there early!

There will be different sized jars available to purchase on the day and they will be priced between £1 and £7.50.

The honey has been harvested from the volunteer-run apiary based near Holywell Park, which is home to thousands of bees.

In celebration of this year’s Loughborough Gold yield, two academics at the University have provided some bee-rilliant research on honey which is available to read here.
