Academic’s sculpture makes appearance in BBC drama
A Loughborough academic’s sculpture has made an appearance in a popular BBC drama.
John Atkin is a Reader in Fine Art at the University’s School of the Arts, English and Drama.
One of his sculptures, Dal Fabrro’s Chariot, was recently featured in an episode of the BBC Drama The City and the City - a four part crime thriller and science fiction series – last month.
The sculpture is located at Beetham Tower in Liverpool. The piece is made out of a mixture of corten steel and stainless steel, and stands at over 30 foot.
