Tickets available for ATP Challenger Tour event

Tickets will soon be available for the $100,000 ATP Challenger Tour event taking place at Loughborough University in May.

One of two new events, also taking place at Glasgow (28 April – 6 May), the tennis tournament was created by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and announced earlier this month in the lead up to the British Tennis grass court season.

The competition will take place at Loughborough University from 19-27 May and will be staged indoors on hard courts, featuring a 32 singles main draw and 32 qualifying with 16 doubles teams.

Limited tickets will be available for the competition. Exclusive access to tickets will be open to British Tennis Team Members from 11am on Wednesday 11 April, with general tickets going on sale Friday 13 April. For further information visit the LTA website.

Leon Smith, LTA Head of Men’s Tennis and Davis Cup Captain, said: “It’s great news that we’re creating more playing opportunities for British players in the UK.

“These Challenger events are invaluable in providing high-quality match experience as well as the opportunity to build up important ATP ranking points. Hopefully we can see some high-level performances from our Brits at these events.”
