Time running out to vote for Placement Student Awards

Voting to decide the winners of this year’s Placement Student Awards is still open – but only until tomorrow, Tuesday 12 June.

The Awards celebrate students that have excelled in their placement, showcasing their outstanding achievement and enterprising initiative above their placement brief.

A total of 11 finalists have been selected from the University-wide nominations and they have been split into three categories – Private Sector (over 1,000), Private Sector (up to 1,000) and Public Sector – depending on where they spent their placement year.

Staff, students and the wider community are invited to cast their votes online here, and you can vote for one finalist in each of the categories.

To date, almost 14,000 votes have been cast, and the winners’ trophies are hotly contested. So, cast your vote, if you haven’t already, and help your favourite nominee claim the prize.

The winners will be revealed at the annual awards ceremony on Thursday 14 June. As well as celebrating the outstanding achievements of the University’s placement students, the awards look to promote the transformative opportunities employers provide.
