Loughborough University London supports fascinating community projects through new funding initiative
Loughborough University London has awarded nine charities and organisations with donations, as part of the new London Open Fund initiative.
The programme accepts bids of up to £1,000 from charities and organisations surrounding the Loughborough University London campus, to support the local community.
The London Open Fund is new to 2018; it is an extension of Loughborough University’s Community Donations Fund, which has helped more than 200 community groups in the East Midlands.

Funding summer 'stay in touch' days to support families who have insecure living situations |

Funding an accessible greenhouse to aid with the weekly young people’s gardening and growing club |
Ben Cole, Stakeholder Development Manager at Loughborough University London, said: “When we established Loughborough University London we wanted to be an active neighbour in our local community.
“Supporting local organisations to continue to make east London the vibrant and exciting place that it is through our Open Fund is just one of the ways we do this.
“We are so happy to play a small part in helping these organisations help our community.”
