Employee Assistance Programme provides additional resources for staff

The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) has launched a range of new and enhanced services to support staff across campus.

The website now has significantly more content, including self-help videos and podcasts on a range of topics, including home life and wellbeing.

Staff can also take advantage of a one-hour, confidential careers counselling telephone appointment.

A dedicated service for managers is also available, offering support for different situations associated with management such as workplace conflict.

The EAP is an initiative that is part of the University’s commitment to provide support for staff wellbeing as a response to issues highlighted in the 2016 staff survey. The service complements the University’s existing staff counselling and occupational health services.

The service is available 24 hours a day to staff, and can be accessed online (use organisation code lborowell) or by ringing 0800 111 6387.
