Guided bluebell walk postponed

The bluebell walk with campus arborists that was to take place today (Wednesday 2 May) has been postponed due to the poor weather.

The walk round Burleigh Wood has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) and staff and students are invited to come along.

The ancient woodland was once part of the old Burleigh Estate and was first mentioned in documents that date as far back as the 15th century.

The guided walk is a great opportunity to explore parts of the campus you might not have visited yet and witness the amazing display of bluebells that bloom every year.

The walk will start at 12pm at the top of the Holywell Car Park (near pitches 6 and 7). The nearest bus stop is at Holywell; from there it is approximately a five minute walk to the meeting point.

You are advised to wear suitable footwear such as wellies.
