International climate change conference hosted by Loughborough University from tomorrow

An international climate change conference will bring experts to Loughborough to discuss the threats, solutions and technology associated with the growing environmental phenomenon.

Topics being discussed include heatwaves, flooding and coping with extreme weather.

The 2017 Society for the Study of Human Biology Symposium: Human Biology of Climate Change takes place between 12 – 15 September, at the Ramada Loughborough hotel and it is a joint meeting with the International Association of Physiological Anthropology.

This international symposium brings together an interdisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners from many disciplines, including anthropology, human biology, geography, health, nutrition, demography, physiology and environmental design to tackle questions around climate change.

In addition, there are more than 50 presentations and posters on human factors engineering, human evolutionary biology and human performance.
