Participants needed for new research study

Loughborough’s National Centre for Sports and Exercise Medicine, is looking for participants in a new study.

The research will study the effect of combining protein supplementation and exercise training, versus exercise training alone, when looking at risk factors for heart disease.

Healthy men and women aged between 20-60 years are eligible to volunteer. Participants should not currently take part in more than one hour of planned exercise per week.

Those taking part will receive a free four week exercise training plan. You must be able to attend the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine for some basic tests, such as fitness and blood samples.

If you are interested and eligible to take part in this study, please contact Dr Oonagh Markey on o.markey@lboro.ac.uk
