Global Challenges Research Fund lunchtime seminar

Loughborough’s Global Challenges Research Fund is hosting a lunchtime seminar for University staff on 3 July.

It will take place 12-1:30pm in Jennings Council Chamber (Hazlerigg Building).

The event will include an introduction from Professor Paula Griffiths, Head of the Global Challenges Working Group.

Two case studies will be discussed. The first case study is from Dr Emily Rousham, Senior Lecturer in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, titled ‘Who gets what and when? Pathways of antibiotic use for humans and animals in Bangladesh’.

The second case study is from Professor Malcolm Cook, Professor of Building Performance Analysis / Associate Dean (Research), School of Civil and Building Engineering. The study looks into Low Energy Cooling and Ventilation for Indian Residences.

The seminar will be followed by lunch and the opportunity to network.
