Volunteers needed for 2017 School Games
The organisers of the 2017 School Games are looking for volunteers to support the event taking place on campus between 1 – 3 September.
There are a variety of volunteer roles across the event, with some roles only requiring attendance on the weekend.
The 2017 School Games is a multi-sport event for 1600 of the UK's school-aged elite athletes.
It aims to create an inspirational and motivational setting to provide our elite young sports people with the opportunity to thrive and perform at the highest level, reinforcing the experience of multi-sport events like the Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games.
Whether you’re interested in sport, want to gain valuable experience in supporting a high profile multi-sports event, or just want to give something back, the team would like to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity to be involved with some top-level sport on campus, with roles including marshalling, spectator services and field of play support.
In return for helping, volunteers will receive food and drinks during the day, as well as a National School Games t-shirt and hoodie – and of course, have fun at the same time.
