Annual fire-fighting equipment inspection complete
This year’s annual service inspection of the portable fire extinguishers and blankets is now complete.
All portable fire-fighting equipment should now be fitted with an orange tamper tag or disc, which is this year’s colour code. All fire blankets should have an in date service label. The label may be on the rear of the box.
If staff members come across extinguishers displaying last year’s colour coding (a green tamper tag or disc), fire blanket service labels which are out of date, or extinguishers that have the yellow plastic pin secured by an orange tamper tag, please contact Richard Gunn on R.Gunn@lboro.ac.uk with details of the building and location.
