Students invited to get involved in Keep Calm week

Students are invited to get involved in Keep Calm week at Loughborough Students’ Union this week, in the lead up to the exam period.

From 9 – 15 January, a range of activities including mindfulness sessions, doodle boards and pooch petting will take place.

Yoga and mindfulness sessions will be running throughout the week on a first come first serve basis. If you’re interested, please email welfareo@lsu.co.uk with your name and number to secure your space.

MONDAY 9th:

Stall at the Union, 12 – 4pm

Freebies to support your studying. Come and collect bottles of water, specialty teas, and fresh fruit and revision planners.

TUESDAY 10th:

Puppy Petting, 12:30pm onwards

WEDNESDAY 11th:

Dog walking stress relief as part of Action from 12:30 – 3:00pm

THURSDAY 12th and FRIDAY 13th:

Stalls at the library handing out mindfulness relaxing colouring, teas, fresh fruit, water and lots of stress relief good stuff!

FRIDAY 13th:

Gardening Therapy, 3pm onwards

A relaxing gardening workshop on growing herbs and using them for cooking, this includes tidying up the beds and improving the soil on a veg bed by sowing a Winter Green Manure seed mixture, to prepare the bed for later in the year.
