Snooks founders nominated for Women in Business Award
Loughborough alumnae, Susie Beere and Sophie Kelly, have been shortlisted in the New Business of the Year category at the Leicester Mercury Women in Business Awards 2016.
Born in The Studio, Susie and Sophie’s business, Snooks, is the first British snowboarding and ski brand designed specifically for women.
Officially launched earlier this year, Snooks offers female riders uniquely designed and well-fitting outerwear that combines protection, freedom of movement and style.
The Leicester Mercury Women in Business awards highlight the contribution made by female professionals and entrepreneurs.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 27 September at the City Rooms in Leicester.
