Local businesses invited to attend workplace health seminar

Local businesses are invited to attend an exclusive breakfast seminar on workplace health this month.

The event is being run by experts whose research shows the widespread benefits of physical activity for all ages and how innovative equipment and techniques can be used to improve work place health. These range from standing desks to treadmill work stations and other low or no cost activities all designed to help workforces.

The breakfast event is taking place on Friday 4 November, 8am – 10am, at the National Centre for Sports and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM) based on the Loughborough University campus.

For the very first time, the NCSEM is opening its doors to the local business community. The centre brings together leading academic and clinical expertise from across the East Midlands with the ultimate goal of benefiting the health and wellbeing of the nation from everyday people to elite athletes.

The event is free to attend. Booking is required. To book: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/event/EHMJIE
