Students provide social media masterclass at Anglian Water conference

Eleven enterprising undergraduates hosted social media masterclasses as part of a two-day Anglian Water conference at Holywell Park last week.

Organised by the School of Business and Economics, students conducted masterclasses on the top seven social media platforms and held sessions with 150 Anglian Water delegates.

The aim of the conference was for Anglian Water to learn how to connect with the next generation of customers. With current students at the University fitting into this category, they discussed the social media platforms that they use, explaining how and why they facilitate them in the way they do.

The knowledge provided by the students will help Anglian Water to further understand how to effectively engage with future target audiences.
