International Business student invited to Downing Street

Final-year International Business student, Dominic Matcham, was one of an elite group of young entrepreneurs invited to attend the 2016 Founders of the Future event at 10 Downing Street.

Dominic was nominated to attend the Founders Forum event by Economics graduate and Executive Chairman of Shazam, Andrew Fisher. Andrew met Dominic at a Centre for Information Management event at the University and was keen to promote his innovative business ideas.

The Founders Forum is a networking event that has been connecting young entrepreneurs with some of the world’s leading thinkers, CEOs and investors in technology for the last 10 years.

The forum included talks from a range of inspiring entrepreneurs such as the Founder of AKQA, Ajaz Armed, and Founder of Moshi Monsters, Michael Acton.

Following the Downing Street event, Dominic has received interest from investors who want to help him develop his business plans.

Dominic comments: “I would like to thank all those at the Business School and Student Union Enterprise Centre who continue to help and support me. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Loughborough University. It has been an incredible student experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a university education.”
