Which? University survey rates Loughborough sport and students’ union among UK’s best
Loughborough has been rated highly for its sports scene and its students’ union in the Which? University Student Survey 2016, published today (13 July).
Each year Which? commissions an independent survey of current higher education students in the UK to find out more about their experience of university.
For the 2016 survey more than 11,000 students from over 115 institutions were interviewed. The survey concentrates on six aspects of student life: nightlife, students’ union and the sports, creative and political scenes.
Working closely with Loughborough Students’ Union – which was named Best Students’ Union for the third consecutive year in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2016 – Loughborough University ensures that students have access to a truly global experience that equips them for every aspect of their life and careers.
The University was ranked 1st overall and 1st for its sports facilities in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2016. It has also topped the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) championship for 36 years running.
