Holocaust Memorial Day

Staff and students are invited to reflect on the lives that have been affected by the Holocaust in a remembrance ceremony on January 27.

Holocaust Memorial Day will take place at 1pm in Queens Park, Loughborough, with participants gathering at Charnwood Museum from 12.30pm.

Staff and students are invited to walk with the Chaplains from the Hazlerigg Fountain at 11.50am to Queens Park.

This year, Jewish student Esther Malkinson will be reading at the service which is set to last for approximately an hour.

On campus, the Chapel in the EHB will be open all day for quiet reflection and prayer with the opportunity to light a candle. There will also be a virtual concert taking place in the Brockington Building from 2pm-2.50pm.
