Scheduled Maintenance of Campus Telephone System
Further to recent communications the final stage of the planned outages will occur this weekend, please take appropriate action should this affect you.
What are the benefits to students and staff of the University?
This work will enable IT Services to develop a Video Conferencing service.
How will the works affect me?
The scheduled works will result in loss of service. All telephones and telephone services, voicemail, fax and Jabber will be unavailable for extended periods of time during this weekend and should be considered unavailable for the extent advertised. Telephones on campus will be out of operation and callers from off campus will hear an error tone.
Tenants and partners will also be affected if they take telephone service from the University.
During the specified maintenance period, campus security will be contactable on 0800 526966
Timescale?
From 18:00 on Friday 2nd December until 22:00 on Sunday 4th December.
