Announcement of new posts appointed at the University.
Dean of School of Business and Economics
Professor Stewart Robinson started his career as a business analyst for a shoe retailing company and then, as a consultant with ISTEL (now Lanner Group). In 1992, he moved to Aston Business School where he lectured in Operations and Information Management. He then spent 13 years at Warwick Business School (1998-2011).
Professor Robinson joined Loughborough University in July 2011 as Professor of Management Science. He is also Chair of the Management Group for the Institute for Sports Research - a collaboration between Loughborough University and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Professor in Communication and Social Interaction
Prior to re-joining the Department in April 2016, Professor Peel was Professor of Psychology and Social Change and Director of Research in the Institute of Health and Society at the University of Worcester. She has received a number of academic awards including the Feminism & Psychology undergraduate prize (1998), an American Psychological Association distinguished book award (2007), and British Psychological Society (BPS) awards for outstanding research (2012) and textbook prize (2013).
Professor of Computational Aerodynamics
Joining the University in 1992, Professor Gary Page graduated from Southampton University in 1986, completing his PhD at the University of London in 1990. His specialities include Jet Noise Applications and Computational Aeroacoustics, Gas Turbine Installation Aerodynamics, Turbomachinery, CFD Code Development, Next Generation CFD and High Performance Computing. He is also a member of Royal Aeronautical Society Aerodynamics Committee and Deputy Director of the Rolls-Royce UTC in Combustion System Aerothermal Processes.
