SMART set to represent the University at innovation festival

The Centre for Sustainable Manufacturing and Recycling Technologies (SMART) will be representing the University at the Disruptive Innovation Festival 2015.

SMART develops new strategies, tools, and technologies which encourage sustainable growth in the manufacturing industry by enabling companies to meet legislative, environmental and ethical standards whilst safeguarding their future prosperity.

The event, organised by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, will address the huge range of challenges facing the development of a more sustainable global economy.

It will offer access to a wide range of live talks bringing together entrepreneurs, designers, industry, makers, learners and doers.

Talks will be available between 2-20 November, with the three talks from Loughborough set to be aired on the 17, 18 and 19 November at 12pm – 1pm.
